Synopsis

A man in Tokyo, Japan, runs a business called Family Romance. It allows people to "rent" a spouse, friend, or whatever social role they require. The man himself has been hired to pretend to be the father to a shy 12-year-old girl who has never known her real father. However, as time goes by, a bond grows between them. The man feels conflicted when the girl confesses that she wants to spend more time with him as father and daughter.
