Expect a Roma-like film rather than your usual Tarantino flick
A slice of life of the characters. Script is once again funny and fresh, music and acting are great.

It's Tarantino...
...so what other excuse do you need to watch this? Haha, just kidding. It's a solid movie - not Tarantino's best imo, but still loads of fun. Great cast (though I wish Margot Robbie had more to do) and you can really see and feel Tarantino's love for Hollywood and just the whole history of film/movies in general. The last scene is super gory but also one of the most entertaining few minutes I've had in the cinema in recent times.

Slow cooked goodness
I’ll put that the plot development is subtle and slow. So if you’re looking for Tarantino’s gory big actions scenes, you won’t be in for this. As a matter of fact, I saw at least 6 people leaving the theatre less than half way through the movie. The movie is really about ‘once upon a time..’ - it will take you back (or so I assume), to what was Hollywood like back then, and gives you snippets of how these characters and actual people spent their time off screen, being themselves. There are so much going on in the plot where there’s hardly any big screen action going on. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the movie and it’s narrative. The storytelling was seamless and natural, topped with remarkable acting of course.

It’s so layered and ambitious.
It’s starts off exploring classic Hollywood before ending with a crazy Tarantino ending. DiCaprio proves to be such a perfect choice for Dalton that one can’t really imagine anyone else in the part. He’s always had classic Hollywood charisma.

Good tribute movie
The storyline could have been more developed but I enjoyed the fact that it brought back elements from the past

Disappointing performance
The story is boring, and is severely offensive to Chinese people, for which I think the Director should be held responsible. Other than those, the performance of the lead actors and actress is good.

Bored
To be honest, I find it boring. I think I am just not the target audience for this movie! Thumbs up to the acting and costume though

An overly convoluted plot
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood: 5/10 This story was very confusing. There was a very convoluted plot, with many unrelated characters. Sure, Brad and Leo pulled off the most amazing performances but that was it. There was an amazing fight scene at the final act of the movie that should be a fun watch for most. This movie was just not to my taste and to top it off, it's 2h40mins. Head to the cinema to watch this movie only if you are into film as an art. Don't waste your time on this. Didn't stay for the credits.

Overall: 1/5
You might just dismiss the score simply because of the high expectations of Tarantino's 'final movie', and I won't blame you cause I had the same high expectations for this movie. In summary, this 160 minute movie is 150 minutes of 'non-fight' scenes and a 5 minute fight scene at the end. This show is a straight up borefest. What angers me is that the 'non-fight' scenes are literally so messily filmed and there is no connection whatsoever between different scenes. It jumps from one instance to another, and half the time it leaves me scratching my head as I ask myself if its even needed. Cast is amazing but shame Margot Robbie didn't even have any chance to shine in her acting chops. Overall, I feel this movie was directed in a very lazy direction. Tarantino is known for his action scenes, but when he chooses to focus on making a smart plot it fails miserably. He should have just to what he was good at, violent fighting scenes. Mightly disappointed, I feel this movie is just one big convoluted mess.

Too boring.. Couple of my friends fell asleep half way.. we couldn't wait for it to end.. Waste of time.. Offensive to Asians.. Watched it only for the amazing actors in it..

Garbage.
Just another senseless rubbish from Tarantino. Seriously, he needs to stop making BS movies, a cranial lobotomy and a new career.

Disappointing
Worst Tarantino movie since Jackie Brown. Utterly disappointing fare, where pretty much nothing happens.
