The Kannada-speaking residents of Kerala struggle to keep the language afloat in the town. Their children are enrolled in a Kannada medium school in Kasaragod but they receive news that the school will be shut down. The students will then be transferred to a Malayalam medium school. The students and their parents now try their best to prevent the school`s closure.
