The movie paints a vivid picture of a fantasy world, and all the details paid to the creation of this world is astounding: the costumes, languages, and settings. However, the revelation of the fantasy world is rather confusing, especially to those who haven't read the novel or played the spin-off game. The movie really keeps you at the edge of your seat, but the end is unsatisfying as it leaves you wanting more. Then again, the cliffhanger ending isn't that unexpected considering this is just the first part of an epic. Overall, it was a nice movie and a great introduction to this new fantasy world. Love the star-studded cast too! Their acting was abosolutely superb. Looking forward to the next movie :)

Dune was my favourite storyline since I was a kid. It never fails to impress me. Now with more great visual. Outstanding. Can't wait for the part 2.

didn’t really know what was going on half the time, but the storyline was quite okay overall. i watched with my friends and they thought it was quite boring thiugh
