Pedro Pascal, the actor behind the beskar-clad bounty hunter Din Djarin, is ready to graduate from the small screen to the multiplex. Disney dropped the first full trailer for Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu on Tuesday, giving fans their longest, most detailed look yet at the beloved duo's cinematic adventure—and it already feels like something worth lining up for.

The two-minute-plus trailer expands significantly on the brief teaser that aired during the Super Bowl, offering new character moments, sweeping action sequences, and a much clearer sense of the film's central conflict. Most striking of all: Mando appears without his helmet in a pivotal scene — a rare glimpse beneath the iron creed that has defined his character from the beginning.

The trailer centers on a new mission shaped by the aftermath of the Empire's collapse. With the old order in ruins, splintered imperial warlords have scattered across the galaxy, leaving the fledgling New Republic scrambling to maintain order. That's where our heroes come in.

Sigourney Weaver makes a commanding impression as Colonel Ward, a high-ranking Rebel Alliance officer who enlists Din Djarin and Grogu to help neutralize the lingering imperial threat. Weaver, like Pascal, appears unmasked in the footage — a visual that feels intentional, conveying the trust and gravity of the moment as two icons share the frame.

Mando doesn't hesitate. "We'll take out every bad guy in your deck of cards," he promises the Colonel, while Grogu—ever the scene-stealer—offers a tiny, earnest salute that is practically guaranteed to break the internet.

Jeremy Allen White, fresh off his Emmy-winning run on The Bear, also features in the cast, adding another marquee name to an already star-studded ensemble. Details about his role remain tightly under wraps, which only adds to the anticipation.

The film represents the first Star Wars feature to hit theaters since J.J. Abrams wrapped up the Skywalker Saga with The Rise of Skywalker back in 2019. That's nearly seven years between big-screen entries—a gap that has only sharpened audience hunger for a return to a galaxy far, far away.

Jon Favreau, who conceived and shepherded the original Mandalorian series on Disney+, steps into the director's chair for the film, co-writing the screenplay with Filoni. The duo's deep familiarity with these characters should give the movie a sense of continuity while scaling everything up for the widescreen experience. Ludwig Göransson, whose Emmy-winning score became as iconic as the show itself, returns to compose the film's music.
