Not the typical love drama like what the rest of the other Spiderman movies had. For sure its more than what I've expected. 2 post credits so just hang around after the movie ended! Loved it!
I loved the movie. I liked how iron man was also in the movie and I also loved the new features of the suit. I think the storyline is very well plotted.
Tom Holland is probably the best Spider-Man to date. And they got the setting/plot right! A 15yr old Peter Parker (which is set for more sequels in the future), and getting the 'friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man' feel right. A lot say it feels like a high school flick or teen flick. Of course! It's Spider-Man: HOMECOMING! H-O-M-E-C-O-M-I-N-G... Get that? It's that time of Peter Parker's life where high school is a drama for him. All about fitting in, girls and books. And his Best Friend, Ned, is awesome man! I loved his character. Great chemistry between them. Last but not least, it's the reveal of MJ (Mary Jane)! You have to watch to find out who! (Spoiler alert!: She's been appearing alongside Peter Parker all this while!) I just had to give 5 Stars! Honourable mention: Tony Starks' Spider-Man suite (both ver 1 and ver 2) is awesome!
Thought it was actually pretty hilarious and had a good message. Definitely a different spin to the usual Spider-Man movie. I liked how it was definitely a little more geeky like how Peter Parker should be, as written in the comics. And Tom Holland obviously played the character very well. Can't deny that his previous gymnastics training obviously made it more believable. Anyone saying that he's too skinny and too geeky obviously didn't know how the real Spider-Man was written to be. Yeah it was a teen movie but who's to say that that should stop anyone from enjoying it aye?
Spider-Man: Homecoming is a fun, tween-friendly take on one of Marvel's most enduringly popular characters. Starring an actual teen (Tom Holland) as web-slinging high schooler Peter Parker, its spirit is very much in line with the original comics. While there's no shortage of peril and action violence, it's not as unrelenting or large-scale as in many of the other Marvel movies.
Why the low reviews? I thought it was great! New interpretation of the Spider-Man keeps things fresh. Spider-Man in the comics was a teenager. The tone is correct - especially the character says he only acquired his powers 6 months ago. Therefore he is not experienced. Loved the movie and how the tone contrasts with the tone of other Avenger heroes. It gets old if they are all the same!
No matter what others say, this movie is pretty darn decent as an origin story for the new Spider-Man. You can't expect a global scale enemy incursion in Spidey's early days, you got to let him make mistakes & learn. Can't wait for the sequels!
Have always been a big fan and they reminded us many things of peter parker, his strength and all the things that he can do. They have made him so much more relatable and I was surprised that I was not disappointed at all! Bonus: Tom Holland's cute
If you're a Spider-Man fan, then this movie is all that you want it to be. If not, you will still enjoy yourself but it's more towards the high school side
