A Joy To Watch
The first thing you will notice is the movie’s unique visuals, and you will keep feeling the amazement throughout the film. It stays true to its comic book roots and wonderfully complements the tone of the movie. Miles Morales embodies everything Spider-Man is - full of potential to do good yet never quite feeling up to par. Not as polished as heroes like Iron Man but sure as hell giving his all. The ending message of the film might leave you feeling hopeful.
This film nails everything it sets out to do with its message that anyone can be Spider-Man and all the various origin stories while being infinitely entertaining. A ton of Easter eggs also included which hardcore spidey fans will definitely appreciate. The animation is gorgeous and gives a very comic book feel and the action takes advantage of the ability to follow a character closely without the audience feeling overwhelmed. The movie successfully gets us invested in a multitude of characters that I cannot wait for spinoffs and sequels of effortlessly which many other movies could learn from frankly. Also stay to the end for the end credits scene you won’t want to miss it.
This movie manages to breathe new life into the spider-verse. Love the characters and also the visual art! Make time to watch it! You won't be disappointed!
I’m not a Spiderman fan, yet this movie is every bit enjoyable! Interesting storyline, unconventional characters, and the parallel universe plot made it all so cool and exciting. Especially liked the visual effects where they incorporated comic book elements into live action scenes and narrations, a unique experience and works very well! Good humour and so funny to see all different “Spider People” appearing in the movie. Worth watching. Not your typical Spiderman movie!
This movie was near perfect for me. The plot explores new areas and possible developments from the original one. There were twists and humour and a lot of thought and heart in this film. It seemed as though Marvel took a leap of faith and landed in perfection once again. Esp loved the soundtrack of this film, had a very similar vibe to black panther and I’m freaking digging it!
Gorgeous movie with never before seen style. Start to finish I was hooked like a little kid seeing Superheroes for the first time. This movie truly pushed the boundaries in their animation and proved to be a worthy film of 2018 and this is one movie that we will all grow up wanting to show our own children. The movie never failed to bring up the mood during the right moments and never failed to let the emotions sink into their audiences at the right moments too. Bring your kids, your parents, your ah ma ah gong and your partners to this movie, OR EVEN A STRANGER!!!! Such a hard movie to hate, this one tipped the scale for me. THE MOST WORTH IT ANIMATED MOVIE TO WATCH IN THE CINEMA OF 2018!!!!
Do not hesitate to buy a ticket for this movie as it is literally everything you would ever want in a superhero film. The squad, the sidekick turned hero, the fate of humanity laying in the hands of only one person... coupled with the amazing animation & music, it is sure a show worth enjoying with the whole family!
Big standouts of this movie is the great visual style and awesome soundtrack. Glad that the story of Miles Morales has been put onto the big screen (much needed diversity, even though it's an animated flick). Overall the film is fun to watch and a very different take on conventional superhero movies. Great film!
This movie far surpasses all the previous spider-man movie. The comic animation art style was visually fun to watch! I quickly fall in love with all the spider-man/woman dynamic characters! The movie knows what it is and it is not afraid to poke fun with the previous spider-man movies. Love it!
as a movie it triumphs. as an entry into the spiderverse, it triumphs as well. so much thought was put into every little detail, everyone needs to see this
