Synopsis

1983 is a Malayalam film directed by fashion photographer Abrid Shine. It's a family drama that revolves around cricket revolving around the character Rameshan who is played by Nivin Pauly and his memories from 1983 when India won its first World Cup under Kapil Dev to 2013. Anoop Menon plays Vijay Menon, who was once a noted Ranji Trophy player and is now a brilliant coach. Joy Mathew, Rajeev Pillai, Jacob Gregory, Saiju Kurup, Aju Varghese, Shine Tom Chacko, Srinda Ashab, Dinesh and Sanju, make up the rest of 1983's team with Nikki Galrani as the heroine.
