Synopsis

A crime thriller that contrasts the lives of the wealthy and the poor in post-war Japan. The film centres around Kingo Gondo, a successful executive who is on the verge of taking control of a shoe company. However, his life is thrown into chaos when his chauffeur`s son is mistakenly kidnapped instead of his own.
